Flower and plant sorting assistant
What are you going to do?
From Monday to Friday, the wholesale is open from 6:00 am. Typically, the workday ends around 3:00 pm. The busiest days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so we're particularly looking for employees available on these days. Work hours are flexible, starting from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, for example, to accommodate those with school-going children.
The position is initially 16-24 hours during quieter periods but can extend to 40 hours during peak times, such as holidays (both for the Netherlands and Belgium, France, and other countries where flowers and plants are delivered), as well as vacation periods.
Every day, flowers and plants are purchased at the auction. They are processed and shipped to stores on the same day. You'll work in the 'box' where flowers and plants are sorted on a conveyor belt by route. Your tasks may include:
- Loading flowers and plants onto the sorting belt.
- Putting sorted flowers and plants on carts or packing them in boxes.
- Sticking and labeling flowers and plants.
- Checking orders via the E-shop.
- Sealing carts and preparing them for transport.

- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
There is a bus running from the early morning hours from Amsterdam, Amstelveen, and Schiphol. However, it is preferable if you can come to work with your own transportation.
