As Mission Equipment Engineer, you make sure all project-specific equipment is ready to perform when mobilized to a vessel. You keep oversight of the inventory, plan maintenance and repairs, and coordinate logistics between projects.
Your main tasks include:
- Managing the storage, maintenance, and repair of mission equipment;
- Coordinating in- and outgoing materials and tools for projects worldwide;
- Maintaining schedules to keep equipment operational and certified at all times;
- Using tools like Maximo and Ops365 to track history, plan repairs, and prevent double bookings;
- Being the SPOC for all equipment-related matters, supporting project and vessel preparations;
- Organizing spare parts, documentation, and certificates to ensure compliance with QHSE-S standards;
- Leading (in the future) a team of 2 technicians and coordinating third-party specialists.

You are a practical and organized technical professional with strong communication skills and the ability to keep an overview. You understand the complexity, risks, and timing of technical operations, and you enjoy working in a role where coordination, safety, and reliability are key.
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s degree (HBO) or MBO+ level in mechanical, electrical, or technical fields;
- Strong technical background, ideally in hydraulics or electro-mechanical engineering;
- Repairing and maintaining mission equipment such as grippers, cranes, transition pieces, drillers, piling equipment, telescopic ladders, and pile cleaning tools.
- Experience in a role comparable to a Chief Engineer is a plus, but you are now ready for an onshore challenge;
- Hands-on, flexible, and a real team player;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel pivot tables, lookups), CMMS, and ERP systems;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
